Mellen Elementary School serves 120 students PreK-5.

As a small school district it is our goal to provide every student with an individualized educational plan.  We feel it is important for each child to have a meaningful relationship with the adults and other students in the district.  When teachers know students by name, it fosters a culture of belonging, accountability, and support.  Our small size allows us the opportunity to identify and support struggling learners.

Mellen School District provides many opportunities for our students and families.

• SAGE (Student Achievement Guarantee in Education) provides reduced student-teacher ratio, allowing more one-on-one interaction in grades K-3.
