April is the last full month for eligible consumers to receive the Affordability Connectivity Program (ACP) discount on their broadband bill. Internet service providers were required to send a 2nd notice related to the end of the discount by March 19, 2024. For more information, please visit the FCC ACP wind down fact sheet.
The PSC’s Internet Discount Finder has been updated to remove references to ACP discounts. It now displays providers who offer their own discount program, along with other available providers whose prices are not discounted. The Discount Finder remains a valuable resource for helping eligible Wisconsin households quickly find internet discounts available at their address.
Affordable Connectivity Program funds are expected to run out soon. Because of this, a new "Wind-Down" process has been released. Households already enrolled will continue to receive benefits through April 2024. Please contact your internet company directly to see when your last ACP benefit will show up on your monthly bill, or contact the ACP Support Center at (877) 384-2575.
